How do I apply face oil?
We suggest you place 3-5 drops of oil in the palm of your hand. Dab 2-3 fingertips of other hand, and pat the oil randomly all over your face. Gently and evenly blend in oil in an upwardly fashion, including around mouth, eyes, and even the neckline.
How often and when should I apply Face Food?
Depending on your skincare routine, you can use it both morning and night, morning or night, whatever time is convenient for your routine.
Can Face Food be used as a moisturizer?
Yes! Most people are using Face Food as their moisturizer, reducing their need for other moisturizing products. For those with very dry skin, requiring an extra dose of hydration, apply your moisturizing cream first, followed by 3-5 drops of face oil to seal in moisture and create a protective barrier.
Why add mushrooms to skincare products?
Aside from being a powerhouse of nutrients and healthy compounds such as antioxidants, beta-glucans and kojic acid, mushrooms such as Reishi and Shiitake help to attract and lock-in moisture, reduce the signs of hyperpigmentation, can help stimulate collagen and elastin production, reduce the appearance of redness, and combat the signs of ageing skin. A true feast for you skin.
Will the face oil clog my pores?
NO. The oils, which are non-comedogenic, were carefully selected for their ability to be easily absorbed without blocking pores. After cleansing your face, within a few minutes of application, you will notice that the oil has blended in, leaving your skin feeling soft and supple. You can easily apply your makeup after applying Face Food.
Are there any preservatives or added chemicals in Face Food?
NO! Face was formulated to be as natural and safe as possible. Using organic, ethically sourced, vegan ingredients, we created a face oil Mother Nature would be proud of!
What if I am not happy with the product?
Our number one priority is your happiness! We love and stand by our products 100%. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please reach out to us within 30 days of receiving your order and we will be happy to refund the full price you paid when checking out, minus original shipping charges. Is Face Food suitable for my skin type?
Yes! Face Food is formulated for all skin types. It's especially beneficial for those with sensitive skin, dryness, redness, bumps, uneven skin tone, or anyone whose skin could use a little extra TLC and deep hydration.
What does Original Face Food Smell like?
Face Food’s delicious oil blend includes calendula, rosehip, cranberry and rose geranium oils. The scent has been described as a combination of gentle citrus, rose, and light earthy tones. Rose Geranium oil in aromatherapy is known for its calming and mood boosting abilities. A little spa experience in every application!
How long does a bottle usually last?
On average our 20 ml bottle provides roughly 2 months of daily use and our 40 ml, 4 months of daily use. A little goes a long way!
What is the shelf life of Face Food?
12 months after opening. To maximize the life of your face oil, we recommend keeping your bottle out of direct sunlight, in a cool place, and keeping the bottle sealed when not in use.
Is Face Food Gluten-free?
Yes! Face Food is gluten-free.
Why is the scent or colour slightly different from the the last bottle?
